Now there are many medical and herbal medicines claimed to cure the wet eczema. Nevertheless, the use of the drug should still be adjusted to the cause of wet eczema and should not be used arbitrarily.

The term wet eczema is used to describe the disease or skin disorder that looks wet, contains fluid, or is pus-filled. Generally, wet eczema occurs due to skin infections.

What are the diseases called Wet eczema?

Some skin diseases that often arise in the form of wet eczema, among others:

1. Irritant Contact Dermatitis

Irritant contact Dermatitis occurs when the skin is exposed to certain substances that cause irritation, such as detergent and liquid bleach. When the skin is experiencing this condition, there will be reddish rash, small-ennored-nocoils, skin thickening, and itching.

2. Allergic contact Dermatitis

Allergic contact Dermatitis Occurs when the skin is exposed to allergic trigger substances (allergens) that trigger the reaction of the immune system. 3. Impetigo

Impetigo is a skin infection caused by the Staphylococcus aureus or Streptococcis pyogenes bacteria. These two bacteria usually get into the body through open wounds in the skin. Symptoms of impetigo are characterized by redness, sores, loose skin, Corengan, and watery.

4. Ulcer

Ulcers of the skin or ulcers are open wounds, sometimes pus, that are difficult to heal. Skin ulcers can be caused by a variety of conditions, such as diabetes (diabetic ulcer), prolonged pressure (decubitus ulcer), or vascular disorders. The symptoms are loose skin, itching, sore, and skin discoloration.

Besides the four skin diseases above, there are some conditions that can also cause symptoms of wet eczema, namely herpes, Pompholyx, and Epidermolysis bulosa.

Wet eczema medication

Basically, treatment for wet eczema should be adjusted to the underlying cause. The following are some of the medications that can be an option to cope with wet eczema:

1. Antihistamines

Antihistamine drugs are used to relieve allergic reactions, including allergic reactions that arise to the skin. Therefore, these drugs are usually administered to cope with wet eczema caused by allergic contact dermatitis.

2. Steroids

Steroid group medications, either in capsule form, pills, creams, or ointments, can also be administered to treat wet eczema. The drug works by easing inflammation and is commonly prescribed by physicians for treating wet eczema due to allergic contact dermatitis and irritant, pompholyx, as well as bullous epidermosis.

3. Antibiotics

Antibiotic medications can be administered if wet eczema is caused by bacterial infections, such as impetigo and skin ulcers.

In addition to the administration of wet eczema medication, the doctor may also provide other treatments when it is necessary, such as closure of wounds with bandages, phototherapy, even surgery.

The wet eczema medication is manifold, but its use should not be haphazard and should be adjusted with the cause. One of the treatment will make the wet eczema worse. Therefore, you should first consult a doctor to get the appropriate treatment.
